First National Bank Alaska came to MSI to redesign and develop their website, aiming for a modern, responsive site with user-friendly access across devices—all while placing the bank’s mission and values at the forefront.
MSI started with research and data. We assessed the existing site via heat maps, Google Analytics, SEO audits, and user interviews. User testing highlighted pain points in both search and structure. Collaborating with First National Bank Alaska, MSI created a UX-focused design based on
user personas.

Site Launch
The new site launched with WCAG 2.1 AA level of ADA compliance. on an enterprise-level, custom, scalable hosting infrastructure that ensures security and capacity for high traffic. Not only has First National Bank Alaska received overwhelmingly positive feedback, Google Search Console also reports sizable improvements, validating the client’s goal of creating an improved experience for web users.

Using geo-targeting, the website identifies a user’s
location and displays local experts on screen, creating a
personalized experience and making it easy to connect
with a nearby banker.

The new site features a database that feeds into a custom block layout for frequently asked questions, enhanced site search and individual pages per location, expanding searchable content and strengthening SEO performance.
